Lake County’s Resonanz Opera Performs Two Short 20th-Century Operas

Fri 7/20 @ 7PM

Sat 7/21 @ 7PM

Sun 7/22 @ 2PM

Lake County-based Resonanz Opera, which brings together professional performers and students for their summer season, will be mounting its second concert of the season.

The program is a double bill of popular short 20th-century operas: Giacomo Pucccini’s 1918 Suor Angelica, about sin and desire in an Ialian convent, and Gian Carlo Menotti’s 1946 The Medium, in which confusion leads to tragedy.

They’ll perform at the Mentor Civic Amphitheater on Friday, Lawrence Upper School in Sagamore Hills on Saturday and Andrews Osborne Academy in Willoughby on Sunday.

Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and seniors.
