Walkabout Tremont goes on all year round on the second Friday of the month. But it’s in its glory in the summer when a significant part of the festivities take place outdoors, mostly on Tremont’s main drag, Professor Avenue.
This month’s theme is “American Classics” so the area restaurants and bars will be offering specials on that theme. And as usual, there will be art openings in various area businesses and galleries. There’ll also be free rides on Lolly the Trolley, more than 15 vendors popping up in Lucky Park, live music out on the street and the return of Dr UR Awesome and his giant bubble-making devices, which keeps kids enthralled for long periods of time!
