It’s a Double Play at Twins Days in Twinsburg

Fri 8/3 @ 9:30AM-9:30PM

Sat 8/4 @ 9AM-9PM

Sun 8/5 8:30AM-7PM

Who can rightfully sue the MeToo movement? Our money is on the annual Twin Days Festival. They were doing “me too” long before those women, and probably have copyright over the hashtag.

For 42 years now in Twinsburg, the village (founded by identical twins, Aaron and Moses Wilcox) has hosted the largest annual gathering of identical twins in the world (triplets, quadruplets and “multiples” of any kind are welcome).

The actual theme of the 2018 Twins Days is, cleverly, “Two Player Mode,” with an accent on videogame-inspired activities and getups. Expect twins to cosplay as the Mario Brothers, or maybe characters from Double Dragon, though suggestions are thrown open to board games as well.

Friday at Twins Days is actually open only to twins registered in advance and their relatives, finishing with a Royal Court and twins karaoke. Fun for the general public happens on Saturday and Sunday, with a Saturday-morning parade followed by twins talent shows and contests, magic shows, ventriloquist acts, rap/hip-hop’s Jul Big Green, and the Rockin’ Robots.

Admission on Saturday and Sunday is free.
