Credo Festival Faculty Play Public Concert at Oberlin Conservatory

Fri 7/6 @ 8PM

The Credo Festival at Oberlin Conservatory, which brings together young musicians ages 13-23 for an intensive three-week educational experience, also offers opportunities for the public to hear performances both by the students and the top-tier musicians who comprise the faculty.

Those faculty members — including Michael Davis, James Howsmon, Lee Joiner, Kangwon Kim, Steuart Pincombe, Peter Slowik, Kathryn Steely, and Anne Martindale Williams — will perform at Oberlin’s Kulas Recital Hall tonight. The program includes John Harbison’s Song of Solitude No. 1; Antonin Dvorak’s Cavatina; Franz Schubert’s Quartettsatz; the Mozart Quintet in C; and Johannes Brahms Piano Quartet in G Minor.

It’s $10, $5 for students and seniors.
