Cleveland’s Foodie Neighborhood Pulls Out the Stops for the Taste of Tremont

Sun 7/15 @ noon-8 PM

Hard to believe it’s been all of 16 years since the very first Taste of Tremont. This annual favorite summer Sunday brings out the best of the trendy neighborhood’s cuisine and culinary artists, along Literary, Professor, College, Jefferson and Starkweather Avenues.

Some 30 separate food vendors in all will be represented, but there will also be a beer garden — plus live music, not only on two stages but in the adjoining clubs and restaurants like Fahrenheit and the Tree House.

For instance, the newly revived Visible Voice Books, now located on Tremont’s Professor Avenue, will again host its Rock-a-Lot pop-up party from noon-7pm with both craft brews and non-alcoholic refreshers and entertainment. Kids from the Twelve Art Incubator’s afterschool program kick it off with a poetry reading from noon-12:30pm, with the George Martins from 1-2:30pm and swamp rockers Cats on Holiday from 3-5pm.

Admission is free.
