As usual, the Coit Road Farmers Market is open from 8am-1pm on Saturday. But this Saturday there’ll be something more going on than the usual farmer-fresh and value-added items for sale and the weekly cooking demonstration. The Ohio Regional Cast Iron Enthusiasts will be holding their summer gathering all day
Now in its 5th year, the event gives cast iron collectors and users the chance to buy, sell and trade cast iron cookware of all types and pick up tips on the care and use of the cookware. There will be demos on the seasoning and cleaning of cast iron as well as on how to use it to cook. It’s free and everyone is welcome to stop by and check it out.
