President Trump does this on/off again project scheduling a summit with Kim Jung Un, AKA “Little Rocket Man.” But you can have a surer thing with your little rocket men (and little rocket women) during Rocket Day at Burke Lakefront Airport.
It’s a joint venture between the NASA Glenn Research Center, the Great Lakes Science Center and the airport’s in-house International Women’s Air & Space Museum (IWASM). The youth-oriented afternoon enables children to learn the history of rocketry, watch a rocket car races across the parking lot, and — weather permitting — set off mini model rockets outside.
Kids participating will receive a goodie bag to take home at the end (probably so will Kim Jung Un, we imagine). Admission is $1 per child, and advance registration is required via phoning 216-623-1111.
