Gives “scales” of justice a whole new meaning, it does. The annual Jam for Justice is, believe it or not (or appeal it or not), a music concert featuring local lawyers and judges performing. They play with conviction, you might say. And it raises funds for the Legal Aid Society.
The “hearings” take place in the courtyard connected to Ernst & Young towers in the East Bank of the Flats and is open to all age, with food, drinks, a silent auction, and the talents of group with names like First Offenders, Luke Lindberg and the Hung Jury, and Out of Order. Wonder how many of them will cover Judas Priest’s “Breaking the Law”?
Proceeds from the $50 per person tickets help the Legal Aid Society of Cleveland secure justice for low-income clients (that’s us).
