The Euclid Wind Festival Celebrates a Renewable Resource

Sat 6/16 @ 3-8PM

While Gulf states cringe before the onset of hurricane season, Euclid welcomes its recently inaugurated Wind Festival at Sims Park. It’s a good wind that brings no ill to the Lake Erie-fronting town.

The emphasis on climate, the environment, and wind power. Lolly the Trolley will take participants to tour nearby wind turbine facilities, while bubble-blowers, kite-flyers, inflatable bounce houses, crafts and other fun will enhance the “atmosphere.” Musical performances by Pieces of Eight and a themed performance by DancEvert are also in the air.

Although the Euclid Wind Festival is rain or shine, much of the schedule is weather-dependent. Based on this miserable spring, it wouldn’t be entirely surprising if it has a last-minute change to the Euclid Ice Festival.
