Bring the Whole Family to Come! Play! in Shaker Heights’ Moreland Neighborhood

Sat 6/23 @ noon-6pm

The Come, Play! Fest is a sort of large block party in the Moreland neighborhood of Shaker Heights to which everyone is invited.

Taking place on Chelton Road between Hampstead Road and Scottsdale Boulevard, the free, family-oriented event offers a host of games, races, hands-on craft activities, music and more. The array of activities is dizzying. They include sidewalk chalk drawing, giant Jenga, Frisbee golf, cornhole, Oobleck, kite flying, badminton, pool noodle croquet, a musical petting zoo, upcycled toilet paper roll crafting and games such as egg/spoon, gunnysack and three-legged races.

There’ll be line dancing and yoga; Get Hep Swing will be teaching dance moves, and blues guitarist Sam Hooper will perform. Dr U R Awesome will be blowing his giant bubbles and Two One Fix Bicycle will be onsite doing minor bike repairs. And that’s still only scratching the surface. Food and refreshing drinks will be available too. It’s free and open to all.
