Quarry Hill Orchard’s Spring Bloom Offers Fruit Trees for Sale and Workshops in How to Tend Them

Sat 5/12 @ 10AM-4PM

Quarry Hill Orchards in Eric County’s Berlin Heights is one an hour drive west of Cleveland. During the fall, you can pick your own apples and pumpkins there before enjoying a glass of wine at the Quarry Hill Winery.

While apples and pumpkins aren’t in season now (wine always is!), Quarry Hill is hosting its Spring Bloom celebration. From 10am-4pm, they’ll be holding a flower, vegetable plant and tree sale where you can buy your own apple tree to put in your yard. They’ll have organic herbs from Mulberry Creek Herb Farm in Huron and organic tomato planted from Mill Hollow Nursery in Vermilion.

You can also sign up for a tree planting workshop and orchard tour — $15 for adults and $10 for kids 10 and older — at 11am and 2pm, or a wagon ride through the orchard for $5 per person.
