Indie Rock Legend Lou Barlow Performs Solo Acoustic Show at Blue Arrow Records

Thu 5/10 @ 7:30PM

If you’re into classic indie rock, you certainly know Lou Barlow. The legendary New England-based musician hooked up with the equally legendary J Mascis in the mid 80s to form the legendary Dinosaur Jr.

After his acrimonious departure from that that band, Barlow focused on his side project Sebadoh, making it his main thing. That band continues to this day, while Barlow has also worked on other projects such as Sentridoh and the Folk Implosion.. He’s also released albums under his own name.

Now he’s out on the road doing acoustic solo performances in venues such as Blue Arrow Records on Waterloo where he’ll perform this week. Fans are promised that he will tell stories and take requests, and the intimate setting, surrounded by vinyl, is perfect for devoted fans. Beer, wine and some cocktails will be available for sale with all proceeds benefiting the Waterloo Alley Cat Project.

Doors open at 7; music starts at 7:30. Tickets are $23.
