The Holden Arboretum Plant Sale Will Grow on You

Fri 5/18 @ noon-6PM

Sat 5/19 & Sun 5/20 @ 10AM-4PM

What’s that dumb Cannes Film Festival have that you couldn’t find at the Holden Arboretum Plant Sale? Okay, lots of pot and sleazy producers. But at the plant sale you can find lots of pots and easy produce, so what’s the difference?

The sale takes place on the grounds of the 3,600-acre Holden Arboretum during regular hours (so the tree-canopy walk and Emergent Tower will be open for admission). Available for purchase: perennials, annuals, herbs, gardening tools, beekeeping gear, even outdoor art. A sharpening service will be available for everything from shears to lawnmower blades.

There is a Friday members-only preview sale in the afternoon. Attending the sale on Saturday and Sunday carries a public admission of $5, or free for Holden or Cleveland Botanical Garden members. It is a rain or shine event.
