Want to spend some time hanging out with kittens? You can do so at the Geauga County Humane Society when they host a “Purr Jama Party” in the community room at the Rescue Village.
You can wear your PJs, even though it’s at a time on Saturday morning when you should be up and about, or else just wear something you don’t mind getting cat hair all over. There’ll be a screening of the 1970 Disney animated feature The Aristocats, and there will be food available for purchase just like in a real theater. Unlike in a real theater, there will also be adoptable cats watching the movie with you, and all the proceeds ($10 in advance, $15 at the door) go to help the animals at the Rescue Village.
Don’t bring your own cat though (He doesn’t want to come anyway!) But you might want to warn him you could be bringing a friend home for him!
