Party Animals Celebrate Earth Day at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo

Sat 4/21 @ 10AM-5PM

Begun on April 22, 1970, Earth Day has grown and grown. Technically it’s scheduled for a Sunday, though some communities pick different times throughout the spring to sing “Happy Earth Day to You,” or whatever.

Know that the most fertile soil for Earth Day in Cuyahoga County this week is at the “Party for the Planet” at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. Beside the world-class collections of exotic animals of land, sea, air and rain forest, this special day will have Earth-friendly crafts, Earth Day dancing and lessons on eco-conscious techniques about how to the save the world, even in your own backyard.

The Party for the Planet is free with the regular Zoo admission of $14.25 for adults, $10.25 for children age 2 to 11. Human tadpoles under 2 are free.
