Cat Lovers Celebrate Cinco De Meow in Lakewood to Help Rescues

Sat 5/5 @ 5-9PM

Cinco de Mayo, which commemorates a Mexican military victory, isn’t a big party-and-get-drunk festival in Mexico, which it has become in the U.S.

So we won’t celebrate that but we WILL celebrate Cinco de Meow, a benefit for the Tails from the City and Lucky Paws all-volunteer cat rescues now in its third year, taking place at Around the Corner in Lakewood.

Your ticket includes a vegetarian/vegan-friendly taco bar, raffle baskets to bid on, a 50/50 raffle, an event T-shirt and giveaways for cat AND dog lovers. They’re hoping to have 400 people this year so that’s a lot of cat lovers to share photos of your pets with.

Money raised will provide food, shelter, vet care and more for the more than 800 cats and kittens, including ferals, that the groups take care of each year.

Tickets are $30. Order them here:
