Sun 3/18 @ 12-4PM
One of the groov-iest things in the welcome revival of vinyl records is Jason Burchaski’s Northeast Ohio Vinyl Club. For the past several months they’ve been holding the Burning River Record Riot, a protean LP/45/78 market and festival, roving to various cool venues. Next up it spins in grand style at the Winchester Music Tavern in Lakewood.
Expect turntable rarities right next to that Frampton Comes Alive album you grew up with but got thrown out with the advent of CDs (CDs? What are those?). Punk, alternative, metal, soul, spoken word/comedy, picture-disks, speakers, hardware — anything is fair game with vendors coming from all corners of the state (and out of Ohio).
DJs will be spinning the ambiance music (on vinyl, naturally), and there will be food from the Winchester’s kitchen. Admission is free for browsers. Local sellers (pending space availability) are asked a $5 setup fee.
