Trinity Cathedral’s “Concert by Candlelight” Benefits Its Music & Arts Programming

Tue 3/20 @ 7:30PM

There are many beautiful churches in northeast Ohio that provide lovely settings for classical music concerts. One of those is Trinity Cathedral downtown. Its upcoming “Concert by Candlelight” is a benefit for the nonprofit Music and Art at Trinity, which offers more than 40 arts programs each year, most of which are free.

Trinity’s director of music and worship and nationally acclaimed organist Todd Wilson and busy, in-demand northeast Ohio freelance violinist Jinjoo Cho will perform an all-Bach program in honor of the composer’s 333rd birthday, including Prelude and Fugue in B Minor and Partita No. 2 in D Minor featuring the famous “Chaconne.”

Afterward, both musicians will mingle with concertgoers at a gala birthday reception with cake and a special exhibit titled The Nature of 3. Tickets are $25.

Go to musicandartattrinity.org/seasonal-evening-concerts or call 216-774-0420 to order tickets.
