The Cleveland Museum of Natural History, as part of its own Explorer lecture series, combined with the Cleveland Humanities Festival, welcomes bestselling author Theresa Brown for a talk on “Healing Our Health Care System.”
Brown is a Pittsburgh-based RN as well as a contributor to the New York Times and author of Critical Care and her most recent The Shift, giving a human look into the issues of patient care — and most recently, she herself has undergone cancer treatment. She will discuss the pathologies of our hospitals and clinics and offer solutions from her own experience as well as works of literature.
Admission is $12, and her books will be available for sales and signing. Doors open at 5:30pm for live music and appetizers, with options to purchase a full dinner.
