Literary Cleveland Presents Staged Readings at CSU on Health Issues

Sat 3/17 & Sun 3/18 @ 7PM

As part of this year’s Cleveland Humanities Festival, Literary Cleveland is again presenting two performances of an hour-long staged reading titled I Will Sing for You.

It features work by Cleveland writers around topics related to health, including aging, disability, addiction, race, poverty and inequities in the health care system. Among the northeast Ohio writers whose work will be read are Nicholas Cohen, Diane Ferri, Aubrey Hirsch, Ray McNiece, Philip Metres, Darlene Montonaro, Robin Pease, Mimi Plevin-Foust, Susan Rakow, Jane Richmond, Elaine Schleiffer, Karen Schubert, Jill Sell, Mary Weems and Joe Kapitan.

The performance take place at Cleveland State University’s Student Center Ballroom. There will be a reception with the writers and performers following the program. To register in advance go to litcleveland.org/cleveland-humanities-festival-staged-reading.
