Tri-C JazzFest Seeks Cool Volunteers

Through Sun 3/25

There’s nothing like being an insider at a cool community event.

And there’s none more fun and engaging than the annual Tri-C JazzFest taking place throughout Playhouse Square’s theatres and outside on their outdoor stage under the chandelier in the middle of the street at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and E.14th Street.

The 39th annual Tri-C JazzFest runs June 28-30 (check out their video here), so if you’re available on those dates, you might want to consider volunteering to get as close to the action as possible.

Volunteer responsibilities include everything from distributing materials and working backstage to festival setup and teardown. Training may be required for some positions.

All volunteers – new and returning – must complete the application.

“Volunteers are the lifeblood of festivals like ours,” said Terri Pontremoli, the director of Tri-C JazzFest. “We need them and they enjoy the experience of being behind the scenes.”

Through Sun 3/25, you can apply online at: www.tri-c.edu/JazzVolunteer
