The Ohio Shakespeare Festival, once known for its summer productions outdoors by the lovely lagoon at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens, has recently expanded into a year-round season with a greater variety of productions. So it’s entitled to a little fanfare in announcing its 2018-2019 season.

It will do so at a party at its home base, Greystone Hall in downtown Akron. There will be light snacks and a full cash bar as it announces both of its outdoor summer productions at Stan Hywet and its four mainstage productions at Greystone. And they’ll also reveal two “bonus” productions. And season tickets will be available for purchase at that evening.

There will be entertainment too. The company will be doing some scene readings and singing some Greenshow tunes in the lobby, as well as mingling with the crowd.

You can register for free in advance or give them an optional $5 donation.  They’d really really like you to register. Go here.
