Cleveland Museum of Natural History Connects Women Scientists from NEO to DownUnder

Sat 2/10 @ 10AM

The science-based day by, for, and all about females is jam-packed with hands-on activities, the chance to meet female scientists from around Northeast Ohio and Australia, a screening of the CMNH’s exhibit companion film The Bearded Lady Project and a panel discussion.

Local — and Cleveland’s first female — meteorologist Betsy Kling, moderates the 11am panel discussion in Murch Auditorium, which features women in science panelists working in biology, paleobotany and paleoecology.

The 3pm Australia Live! broadcast allows entomology researchers and experts from Northeast Ohio who are currently working in Australia to interact with CMNH visitors via a live Q&A.

It’s free with regular admission — $15 for adults, $12 for youth.
