Mappy Hour is another of those events that started in one place and spread all over the country, with local people taking charge of their own version of the event. It started in New York back in 2014,and it launches in Cleveland this month.
Mappy Hour brings together people who love outdoors adventures, nature and sports to share maps, guidebooks, stories and beer. Cleveland’s first such evening, taking place at Terrestrial Brewing Company, will feature Cleveland Metroparks’ Dan Sahli presenting an introduction to cross country skiing and very likely sharing some of the ideal spots in the Metroparks to do it.
It’s free and open to all.
