A long time ago in a magic land of faraway — the 1970s and 80s — kids off school on Saturday morning watched TV cartoons in their pajamas. Sometimes even up into college (trust us, for we’ve seen things we can’t unsee). The Great Lakes Science Center pays tribute to that type of animation viewing in a big way.
Their December “Pajama-rama” invites viewers of all ages to the GLSC giant DOME movie theater for a breakfast (eggs, sausages, potatoes) and a presentation — on the big, big screen — of Frozen, 2013’s Walt Disney Animation musical revision of the venerable old Hans Christian Andersen tale of the Snow Queen.
Admission is $24.99 apiece, with discounts for GLSC members, and it includes access after the movie to roam around the entire Science Center and experience the regular exhibits.
