A great place to work off some steam going into the holiday weekend is the Bop Stop, where the Come On People Dance Party will just be hitting its stride around midnight. Come dressed in “your own personal fabulousness” to dance to music by DJs Ambrosia and Red-I. It’s a $10 suggested donation but no one will be turned away if they’re a bit short.
In fact, the Bop Stop is making a nice offer: come a little early and catch the end of the performance by Grammy-winning trumpeter Curtis Taylor, who’s playing from 8-10pm.
