The Akron Symphony Celebrates the Holidays in Medina and E.J. Thomas Hall

Fri 12/8 @7:30PM

Sat 12/9 @7:30PM

The Akron Symphony invites everyone to come “Home for the Holidays” at E.J. Thomas Hall for an evening that features vocalist Helen Welch joining conductor Christopher Wilkins and the orchestra in performing a variety of traditional carols, seasonal pop tunes and inspirational songs.

The lobby of E.J. Thomas will be turning into a pre-show Winter Carnival with the chance to have your photo taken with Elsa from Frozen, crafts for kids and grownups too, and performances by the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royal Ringers and the Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Choir. That all starts at 6pm. Tickets are $25-$55. There’s also an afterparty at Jilly’s downtown, which is more of an adult thing. That’s free.

The next night, Welch and the orchestra will do their annual Christmas concert at the Medina Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $15-$25.
