Pie Sale and Art Auction Raises Money for Kent’s Standing Rock Cultural Arts

Sat 12/2 @ 10AM-6PM

Standing Rock Cultural Arts has been presenting arts and cultural opportunities for people of all ages in the Kent area for a couple of decades. Among their programs are their International Short Film Festival, the Who’s Your Mama Earth Day and Environmental Film Festival, the New World Children’s Theatre and the Around the World music series, to name only a few, as well as a steady flow of art exhibits in their North Water Street Gallery space.

In conjunction with downtown Kent’s annual Festival of Lights, SRCA is holding its 20th annual pie festival and silent art auction to raise money to those projects. Among the items offered to bid on are paintings, photographs, ceramics, jewelry and prints. As for the pies, they’ll have apple, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, peach, key lime, sweet potato, organic and vegan pies, by the slice or the whole pie, as well as other donated baked goods.

It takes place at the North Water Street Gallery.
