Blues Bands Come Together at the Beachland to Benefit Drug Rehab Programs

Sun 12/3 @ 2PM

There’s been a lot of talk about the heroin/opioid crisis, probably more talk than action, particularly on the part of some politicians. But a group of Cleveland-area blues musicians is actually doing something to play a small part in addressing the crisis.

Five acts will gather to perform at the Beachland Ballroom at “Blues Vs. Opioids,” with the money going to five local rehab shelters. The Travis Haddix Band, Gaetano Letizia & the Underworld Band, the Colin Dussault Band, the Sam Hooper Group and the Bluescasters will perform. Between bands, there will be speakers from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Catholic Charities, Ohio CAN, the Maple Heights Police, the Matt Talbot Inn and other treatment and prevention agencies

General admission is $10 in advance, $15 at the door. There’s limited seating so come early if you want a chair.
