No Wonder There’s So Many Blockheads Around Here; LEGO BrickUniverse Convenes in Cleveland

Sat 9/30 @ 10AM-4PM

Sun 10/1 @ 10AM-4PM

Those folks in Cleveland still lucky enough to have jobs are often told to hit the bricks. But that can be done with pleasure at BrickUniverse, a LEGO fan convention (started by a mere teenager) that has chosen the recently refurbished (with LEGOs?) Cleveland Convention Center as its venue.

Participate in LEGO projects and LEGO robotics displays. Marvel at incredible giant LEGO recreations of train layouts, architectural wonders, mascot Mr. Tiger, the Manhattan Bridge and the battleship Missouri (or was that the state of Missouri? Probably that too).

Children’s book authors, prominent LEGO engineers, costumed superheroes and viral internet stars are also scheduled.

Admission is $15.
