The NE Ohio Regional Sewer District Open House Has Everything and the Kitchen/Bathroom Sink

Sat 9/16 @ 9AM-4PM

The Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District has lately been doing community outreach in big-gulp style. An annual open house in their Cuyahoga Heights complex is now a festive occasion during which the public tours water treatment plants and learns about the science of wastewater reclamation in a fun, family-friendly way.

On tap for the day: local radio stations, mascot Wally Waterdrop, a double-team of live animal shows with Jungle Terry and Jungle Bob, a touch-the-truck muster of city vehicles, Cleveland Aquarium and Great Lakes Science Center reps, and food trucks and refreshments.

Admission is free, and there is even bus transportation from the Glennville neighborhood (RSVP requested).
