Help Clean a Cleveland Beach During International Coastal Clean-up Day

Sat 9/16 @ 10AM

The Great Lakes Adopt-a-Beach effort, a project of the Alliance for the Great Lakes, mobilizes volunteers all summer long in states across the Great Lakes region, including Ohio. You’ll find them out on Cleveland’s beaches on Saturday mornings as long as the weather is, picking up cigarette butts and plastic bottles and — other stuff.

In honor of International Coastal Cleanup Day 2017, people are invited to join the teams working to make our shoreline a little nicer. In Cleveland, there will be cleanups at Sims Park and Euclid Beach Park on the east side and Edgewater Park on the west. Go here for details.
