Our own fashion columnist Dru Thompson, who owns Dru Christine Fabrics and Design on Waterloo Road, has been holding a series is “Sip N’ Sew” classes where people can come to work on a project while socializing and enjoying something to drink.
Her next is a “Mommy & Me” class, suitable for all ages and sewing skill levels. (Sure, bring your son — you want to bring him up not to expect his wife to be sewing on all the buttons!) The project is an infinity scarf, something that can be worn by almost anyone (or gifted to someone).
