BlueWater Chamber Orchestra is back at Ohio City’s Breen Center for the Performing Arts to open its new season.

Guest conductor Octavio Más-Arocas will lead a program featuring Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7, Haydn’s Concerto No. 2 in D for Cello, and Saint-Saëns’ La Muse et le Poète for Violin, Cello and Orchestra.

With all that music for cello, they’re bringing on board a very special guest— Cleveland Orchestra principal cellist Mark Kosower, who will handle the solo role in the concerto and joining concertmaster Ken Johnston in the duet for violin and cello. The 75-minute concert is family-friendly, according to the orchestra.

Tickets are $23 for adults, $9 for students, and $45 for a family of two adults and two youth.
