Cleveland Artist Lori Kella Talks About Her Work at the Akron Art Museum

Sat 8/12 @ 2PM

Cleveland artist Lori Kella is known for her intricately constructed miniature scenes which she then photographs, often causing viewers to do a double take when they realize it’s not “real.” She’s exhibited in Cleveland at the Cleveland Print Room, Heights Arts and the William Busta Gallery, as well as in Columbus and Philadelphia. Her series Seven Summits is part of the Akron Art Museum’s current Serial Intent exhibition.

She’ll be giving an artist talk at the museum, sharing some insights into why and how she works as she does. It’s free for members, free with admission for others.
