Summer is car cruise-in season, as we all know. But the Cleveland All Stars Homecoming Car Show in University Circle is a whole different ball of … ball joints.
That’s because it happens at (and features highlights from) the renowned Crawford Automotive Aviation Museum, part of the Cleveland History Center and the Western Reserve Historical Society. Thus there is a special emphasis on automobiles manufactured in the early booming transportation industry of northeast Ohio.
Besides the incredible collection of vintage vehicles, the day includes authors, rides in a 1953 Ford Crestline Convertible, restoration experts and mechanics, and a motorized parade around Wade Oval.
Satellite events are a Friday night kickoff party and tour, and a Sunday morning coffee break with a behind-the-scenes tour of the Museum.
