Local Author Charles Cassady is All Washed Up, Telling Weird Great Lakes Tales at the Music Box

Wed 4/19 @ 7PM

Getting a copy of Dwight Boyer’s Ghost Ships of the Great Lakes as a child scarred local writer Charles Cassady Jr. for life; he now has more than one book of his own telling strange stories of the Inland Seas.

Cassady will speak at the Music Box Supper Club on shipwrecks, maritime spooks and superstitions, lost submarines and other topics drawn from the pages of his learned volumes Paranormal Great Lakes and Great Lakes Folklore. Remember, if you feel seasick at his presentation, that only proves how really good he is.

Admission to the book talk is free. If you wish to dine before the presentation, a prix-fixe $20 meal with a maritime theme is an option. Reservations are required if you plan to dine, and doors open at 5pm.
