Join Local Filmmakers for Premiere of Hometown Feature Film ‘Lux in Tenebris’ in Euclid

Fri 4/21 @ 8PM

The latest Cleveland contribution to indie filmmaking, director Branislov Tatalovic’s Lux in Tenebris, has its premiere at the Atlas Cinemas Lakeshore in Euclid.

Tatalovic’s resume includes running an underground tape-rental business in his native Yugoslavia and photographing protests during the Cold War. Migrating to Cleveland, he has since taught filmmaking at Cuyahoga Community College.

His new ensemble drama (with a title translating as “light in darkness”) was shot in Cuyahoga and Summit Counties and Belgrade with an international, multicultural cast, including Eric Roberts. It centers on two sisters trying to overcome childhood traumas and dark shadows of the past

The screening will be followed by Q&A with the filmmakers and actors, and an after-party. Tickets are $10 and the material carries an R rating.
