Eagles Bassist Timothy B. Schmit’s Solo Tour Hits the Kent Stage

Sat 4/22 @8PM

Bassist/vocalist Timothy B. Schmit has a lengthy resume as a sideman (he played on three of Steely Dan’s celebrated 70s albums and recorded and/or toured with everyone from Bob Seger to Toto to Jimmy Buffett) and solo performer with a half dozen solo albums in his catalog. But he’s best known as a member of the Eagles from 1977 through their 1980 breakup and again following their sporadic post-1994 reunions; prior to that he was a member of another well-known country rock band, Poco.

Last fall Schmit released a new solo album Leap of Faith, his first in seven years. He’ll be bringing his music, including very likely some of the songs he played on, to the Kent Stage. Tickets are $37.50-$47.50.
