Do you like saxophone? Do you really like saxophone? 1Way at Go Factory features Hexapod, a new improvising sextet consisting of four saxophones, bass and drums — with Alex Henry, Tom Lempner, Jack Smiley and Dan Wenninger on saxophones, Rick Kodramaz on bass and Mat Weisman on drums.
Also, the Cleveland-based group, Sopko, Tomino, Wenninger Trio, consisting of Dan Wenninger (saxophone), Mike Sopko (guitar) and Joe Tomino (drums), plays improvised music which explores nuance, extended techniques, density, timbre and space. Admission is $5.
