Local Bands Play Alive Inside Benefit at Brothers Lounge for “Empathy Revolution”

Sun 3/19 @ 5PM

Nine local artists will perform at Brothers Lounge to support the Alive Inside Foundation, which describes itself as “a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring an Empathy Revolution through education, intergenerational practices, music, and film. They empower local communities to create meaningful, shared experiences that link generations, and expand aliveness globally.”

Five bands play in the main concert hall: local reggae favorites Carlos Jones & the P.L.U.S. Band; folk rockers the Nate Jones Band (pictured); Akron singer/songwriter Zach Friedhof and his band the Bright Lights; Angels in Disguise; and Henrietta Kytten. Four additional acts will play in the adjacent wine bar, alternating sets so there’s always something going on.

Tickets are $10 in advance; $15 at the door.
