Survival Kit at 7th Street Studios presents the interdisciplinary collaborative duo featuring dancer Rebecca Burcher and harpist Stephan Haluska. Haluska’s work for harp explores the instrument’s textural, harmonic and percussive qualities, and pairs with Burcher’s use choreography as a powerful vehicles for change, awareness and education.
Electronic musician Matthew Ryals will bring his performance, centered around modular synthesizer. His performances featuring reworks from releases, new songs, and improvisation.
They’ll perform following the opening of Dan Miller’s show Draw me a Sheep at Survival Kit’s PopEye Gallery during Third Friday. It’s free.
