Bill Busta closed his beloved gallery almost two years ago but that didn’t mean he was vanishing as a force in the Cleveland art scene. He’s still cropping up here and there offering his input on special projects such as the one coming up at Zygote Press’s Gallery.

He’s curating year three of Zygote’s Archive Show, which centers on the 20 years of prints the nonprofit organization has been collecting. His special spin in that he will pair items from that collection with pieces from his own collection, from the decade of the Great Depression when the print scene was thriving in the U.S. His pieces were from the Cleveland Print-a-Month club which offered affordable art for the masses, depicting the issues of the day in a variety of printmaking techniques.

The show, titled Ghost Images, opens with a reception Fri 3/17 and remains on view through Sat 4/15.
