Quince Contemporary Vocal Ensemble pushes the boundaries of traditional vocal ensemble literature through numerous collaborations and the commissioning of new works. Quince specializes in experimental repertoire with the precision and flexibility of modern chamber musicians.
Quince will perform Love Fail by Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Lang at Kent State’s Ludwig Recital Hall. This 60-minute post-minimalist meditation about the timelessness of love weaves together words from the medieval tale Tristan and Isolde with more modern texts and stories.
