That “Stitch and Bitch” thing that NARAL Pro-Choice Ohio was hosting last fall is back with a little less “bitch” and a little more “Look out, misogynists — women are coming to kick your butt.” Now called Cleveland Pro-Choice Femiknits, the evenings combine work on knitting, crocheting , sewing, sign-making or a craft project of your choice with drinking, eating, socializing and planning how to hold anti-choice politicians at bay.
It takes place at Prosperity Social Club in Tremont, and no, you don’t have to be a woman, just pro-choice and vehemently opposed to people like Rick Santorum controlling our sex lives. It’s free to attend — buy your own food and drink; Prosperity has a great menu! — but they’re asking that you RSVP so the club knows how much space to set up for the group.
