Akron Soul Train’s first ever fellowship is awarded to local multi-disciplinary artist John Sokol. Sokol has been a prolific artist for over 50 years, receiving acclaim for his visual art and poetry. The fellowship has given him the opportunity to create an entirely new body of work, demonstrating his artistic process, which goes on view at the Spectrum Gallery in downtown Akron.
The sneak art preview on Thu 11/3 is only open to members of the Akron Soul Train. If you would like to attend the preview, feel free to join online or at the door.
