Calling all hardy bicyclists! The 14th annual Marmots’ Meander, sponsored by Ohio City Cycles, gives bicyclists the opportunity to find out what they can do in the snow.

The group will meet at the Ohio City Bicycle Coop at 10am and head out at 11 to the Edgewater Park sledding hill where they’ll be sledding and “ski-biking.” Bring sleds, skis and snowboards too if you like. They promise that everyone will have time to try out the “fat bikes, Bike-Skis, studded snow tires, and various sliding devices” they’ll be bringing along.

Once everyone is nice and chilly (they’ll have hot cider and cocoa at the sledding hill), the group will head back to OCBC for lunch and socializing from 1-3pm, with a stop at the Hedge Gallery at 78th Street Studios to check out the current sports-related Fandom 216 exhibit.

It’s free, but they’d like you to register so they can plan how much food they’ll need. And donations are gratefully accepted!

If there’s no snow – and you know how that goes in unpredictable Cleveland — they’ll just be doing a regular bike ride.
