There’ll be dozens of comedians of all types, local and national with multiple shows each night. You’ll want to sort out what appeals to you by going to the Cleveland Comedy Festival website. Read CoolCleveland’s feature about Saturday night Bop Stop headliner Jim McCue here.

One show that should be of special interest to Cleveland comedy — and television — buffs is the Big Chuck and Lil John tribute show at PlayhouseSquare’s Outcalt Theatre. Local funnyman Mike Polk Jr. hosts the evening that will feature the late-night movie hosts telling stories about their show and some of its famous characters, talking about their mentor Ernie “the Ghoul” Anderson and showing classic clips from their career.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $18 day of show.
