The sun was shining, photos were being snapped, and the anticipation was building as The Western Reserve Historical Society’s History Museum unveiled their latest addition to the museum: “The Spirit of Goodyear”.
The ooo’s and ahh’s could be heard aloud as the Goodyear team dropped the veil and the blimp gondola, which has logged over 31 years of use with three blimps, was brought into the spotlight. The gondola has sailed over events such as: The Kentucky Derby, NASCAR races, US Open Tennis matches, Major League Baseball games etc; and now you can see it at the WRHS History Museum.
