The first annual NeoCycle festival showed what a big bicycle town Cleveland is, with three days of rides, races, and other bike-related events. One local bike maven told us that riders from 15 states had registered for events. In addition, there was festival village (“the Hub”) and a full-scale musical festival on Saturday headlined by local-kids-made-good Jessica Lea Mayfield and Cloud Nothings, so there was plenty to do and see at Edgewater Park even for non-cyclists.
